People joining have been sharing not only why they want to spend less time on their phones but what they&#8217;d rather be doing instead.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-121225\" src=\"https:\/\/bemorewithless.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/lessphoneeverything.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"1200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bemorewithless.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/lessphoneeverything.jpg 600w, https:\/\/bemorewithless.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/lessphoneeverything-150x300.jpg 150w, https:\/\/bemorewithless.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/lessphoneeverything-512x1024.jpg 512w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Here&#8217;s what they have to to say &#8230;\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I&#8217;d like to spend more time with my grandchildren.<\/li>\n<li>I want to read more.<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;m sick of being distracted from doing real work.<\/li>\n<li>I want to take better care of my family.<\/li>\n<li>Must stop procrastinating.<\/li>\n<li>I hope to be more creative.<\/li>\n<li>I need to sleep better.<\/li>\n<li>We need to set a better example for our kids.<\/li>\n<li>I want to be more present.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are many more responses, but even if this challenge only solves these problems, less phone means more everything.<\/p>\n<p>When you are thinking of spending less time on your phone, focus on what you want more of, how you&#8217;d rather spend your time and how you want to feel.<\/p>\n<h2>Less Phone, More Life Challenge<\/h2>\n<p>This isn&#8217;t a <em>no phone<\/em> challenge, it&#8217;s a <em>less phone<\/em> challenge with a promise to reduce screen time by 25% or more. That means if you spend 4 hours a day on your phone, I&#8217;ll give you back one of them. If you spend 20 days a year on your phone, I&#8217;ll give you back 5 of them. Five. Full. Days.<\/p>\n<p>Before you decide, consider how you&#8217;d spend an extra hour a day or an extra 5 days a year. Your numbers may be different and we&#8217;ll help you figure them out before we start the challenge.
