I\u2019ve made minor tweaks and changes to the website over the years, but this is it\u2019s first official redesign. I wanted to remove everything that distracted from the content, and create a space that made for an enjoyable reading experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For me that means &#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>no pop up offers or requests<\/li>\n<li>no bribery where I give you something free if you give me your email address<\/li>\n<li>no fluff<\/li>\n<li>font styles that are easy on the eyes<\/li>\n<li>calm, simple, inviting space<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Come on over for the celebration.<\/h2>\n<p>If you are reading this post via email or in a feed reader, <a href=\"https:\/\/bemorewithless.com\/design\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">come on over by clicking this link<\/a>. Things have changed over here, and I&#8217;d love your feedback and a chance to celebrate the new design with you.<\/p>\n<p>If you really like the fonts or overall reading experience\u00a0better than what you get in email, you can always click on the post title in your email and it will bring you right here.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m so happy to celebrate the new design with my favorite people (YOU), and to introduce you to who made it all possible. <a href=\"http:\/\/briangardner.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Brian Gardner<\/a> made this site look and work like it does. He asked me what was important in the redesign and I told him your experience here was what was most important. I asked him to make it easy and enjoyable to read and also easy to stay in touch and connect. And &#8230; that&#8217;s it.<\/p>\n<h2>A little tour of the new site \u2026<\/h2>\n<p><strong>New header design<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.foodiecrush.com\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">My friend Heidi<\/a> designed my original\u00a0header and I love it as much today as the\u00a0day she showed it to me four years ago. I kept her original design, but changed it to a black and white image and dropped the tagline. <strong>Be More with Less<\/strong>\u00a0says it all.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Start Here<\/strong><br \/>\nThe About page became a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bemorewithless.com\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Start Here page.<\/a> After 4+ years of weekly blog posts, <a href=\"https:\/\/bemorewithless.com\/archives\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the archives<\/a> can be overwhelming.\u00a0The new page offers easy ways to connect, and shares more on the Be More with Less mission and a few favorite posts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Photography<\/strong><br \/>\nWhen I first started blogging, I used stock images of smiling people because other bloggers\u00a0told me those were most successful. The only problem was they didn\u2019t feel like me. Now I\u2019m using my own photography for each blog post and adding a quote or simple idea. You are welcome to use and share these images anyway you\u2019d like. A few times a year, I\u2019ll do an image-only post for extra inspiration <a href=\"https:\/\/bemorewithless.com\/photography\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">like this<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New share \u00a0and social media buttons<\/strong><br \/>\nAt the top of the site you\u2019ll see social media icons. Click those to connect with me on any of the platforms where you already spend time. I know social media isn&#8217;t for everyone, but if you&#8217;re there and I&#8217;m there, I&#8217;d love to say hi.<\/p>\n<p>At the bottom of each post, you\u2019ll find buttons that make it easy\u00a0for sharing on your favorite platforms.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Speaking<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/bemorewithless.com\/speaking\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">I added a speaking page<\/a>. It\u2019s not finished, but as something that really lights me up, I wanted to\u00a0let you know that I&#8217;m available and interested. This blog may be the heart and soul of my microbusiness, but connecting in person is a whole new level of love and light.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Books and courses<\/strong><br \/>\nYou\u2019ll find a list of <a href=\"https:\/\/bemorewithless.com\/books-and-courses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">books and courses on this page<\/a>.\u00a0I\u2019m happy to announce that my 3 microcourses are all available in Kindle format now.
